Spice Global Trading are major buyers, traders, importers and exporters of Exotic Timbers and has secured a number of major multi-million-dollar supply contracts within the Exotic Timber industry with our first timber product offering of Teak (Tectona Grandis).

With the recent launch of our exotic timber division, Oceania Exotic Timbers has recently secured in excess of 363,000 Mature Age Plantation Grown Teak Trees via a deal with the Plantation Owners Representative.

 

Also known as Oceania Timber (Solomon Islands Teak), freshly cut teak can be very variable in colour, but prolonged exposure to light modifies the more extreme variations. The teak contains an aleo-resin, which gives it a greasy feel and distinctive colour.

 

This teak is sourced from low-impact, village-based operations in the Solomon Islands.
